Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Sable Financial and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 150 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer onboarding, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around regulatory reports against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
