Senior Accountant - month-end close (Tulsa, OK)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Pike Learning Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be month-end close. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Track costs around learning materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to school calendars, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
