Senior Accountant - month-end close (Tucson, AZ)

Highbridge Lakeside Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Tucson, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to care plans, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
