Senior Accountant - month-end close (Tucson, AZ)

Greenridge Forge Facilities is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supply orders, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around contractor visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
