Senior Accountant - month-end close (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Clear Health is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 613 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with patient education. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
