Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Silverline Hospitality Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to housekeeping schedules, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
