Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Bluepeak Stone Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Philadelphia with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. You would join a large organisation of about 929 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around visit scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
