Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Greenridge Thistle Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Las Vegas, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our month-end close. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around quality documentation against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with batch records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
