Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Foxglove Clear Care Services Partners supports families and individuals in Nashville with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to visit scheduling, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
