Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Harborlight Willow Medical is a Toledo company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Track costs around complaint handling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to training materials, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
