Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Rivermark Keystone Care Services supports families and individuals in Jackson with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to licensing, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with licensing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
