Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Highbridge Lakeside Care Services Partners is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Savannah. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to visit scheduling, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
