Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Bridge Telecom Partners and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be month-end close. You would join a large organisation of about 479 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer tickets, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
