Senior Accountant - month-end close (remote)

Greenridge Vista Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Boise plant. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to machine downtime, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around production lines against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
