Senior Accountant - month-end close (Philadelphia, PA)

Redstone Keystone Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Philadelphia focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer tickets, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
