Senior Accountant - month-end close (Orlando, FL)

Cedar Haven Pharma Group is a pharmaceutical company in Orlando producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. You would join a large organisation of about 605 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. • Track costs around batch records against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
