Senior Accountant - month-end close (Memphis, TN)

Stonegate Bridge Telecom is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around outage reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field visits, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
