Senior Accountant - month-end close (Fort Worth, TX)

Westbrook Field Staffing Group places workers with employers around Fort Worth. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. You would join a small organisation of about 126 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
