Senior Accountant - month-end close (Dallas, TX)

Stonegate Sparrow Care Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
