Senior Accountant - month-end close (Dallas, TX)

Foxglove Linden Facilities is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to safety inspections, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around cleaning schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with safety inspections.
