Senior Accountant - month-end close (Colorado Springs, CO)

Greenridge Vista Manufacturing Group is a Colorado Springs manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to scrap and rework, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
