Senior Accountant - month-end close (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Lantern Medical Partners and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be month-end close. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lots, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
