Senior Accountant - month-end close (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Linden Legal Group Partners and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be month-end close. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around document review against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
