Senior Accountant - month-end close (Boise, ID)

Stonegate Glen Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Boise with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on month-end close. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to fleet maintenance, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around collection routes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
