Senior Accountant - month-end close (Boise, ID)

Harborlight Forge Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Boise area, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our month-end close. You would join a small organisation of about 192 people based in Boise. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
