Senior Accountant - month-end close (Baltimore, MD)

Stonegate Clear Telecom is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on month-end close for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to outage reports, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
