Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Tucson, AZ)

Northwind Pine Markets Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to online orders, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
