Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Toledo, OH)

Rivermark Willow Pharma Group supports drug development and manufacturing around Toledo. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. You would join a large organisation of about 980 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around release testing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with quality documentation. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
