Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Seattle, WA)

Clearpath Pike Property Management Group is a Seattle property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to rent collection, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with rent collection. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
