Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Savannah, GA)

Silverline Pike Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Savannah, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical studies, and clear open items. • Track costs around batch records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
