Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ashton Health and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be grant and fund accounting. You would join a large organisation of about 352 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
