Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Lumen Basin Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Tulsa, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to contractor visits, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around safety inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • We reply to every applicant.
