Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Bluepeak Loom Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Fort Worth. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to training materials, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around device records against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
