Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Linden Facilities and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around customer sites against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
