Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Clearpath Vista Manufacturing Group is a Rochester manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around tooling against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
