Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Rivermark North Learning Group is an education provider in Boise serving students and families, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around attendance records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to school calendars, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
