Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Harborlight Glen Telecom is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 427 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to network equipment, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around customer tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
