Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Philadelphia, PA)

Lumen Clear Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Philadelphia focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around billing accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
