Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Philadelphia, PA)

Bluepeak Wilder Medical is a Philadelphia company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 187 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
