Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Philadelphia, PA)

Northwind Loom Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Philadelphia region, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around vehicle inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
