Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Loom Medical Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be grant and fund accounting. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
