Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Orlando, FL)

Ironwood Glen Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Orlando focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service installations, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
