Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Orlando, FL)

Foxglove Quill Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Orlando area, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would join a large organisation of about 731 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to housekeeping schedules, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around group events against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with housekeeping schedules. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
