Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Orlando, FL)

Redstone Ember Markets serves neighbourhoods around Orlando with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. You would join a large organisation of about 691 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Track costs around online orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supplier deliveries.
