Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Orlando, FL)

Foxglove Ridge Early Learning is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. • Track costs around enrolment against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
