Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Quill Health Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be grant and fund accounting. You would join a large organisation of about 451 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around referrals against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
