Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Nest Financial Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be grant and fund accounting. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
