Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Jacksonville, FL)

Foxglove Keystone Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Jacksonville, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 198 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service complaints, and clear open items. • Track costs around fleet maintenance against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
