Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Fort Worth, TX)

Silverline Willow Construction is a Fort Worth contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around change orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to safety records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
