Senior Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Fort Worth, TX)

Greenridge West Legal Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for trust accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around billing records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to trust accounts, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
